Mercy Medical Center – Cedar Rapids

IM and FM

• 242 Bed Hospital – 20 Bed ICU
• Open ICU
• MD shift times: 7p-7a, 12a-12p, 7p,7a
• Some procedures required (Intubation, Codes)
• Codes = All hands on deck
• RRT = Yes
• EMR = EPIC
• All Specialties
• 2 day onsite orientation
• APP supervision

APP

• NP or PA
• APP shift times: 7a-5p, 4p-2a
• 3 APP/day independent rounding
